Three generations · one special place

Our Family Story

Florence isn't simply a destination for us — it's home. Our family has roots here stretching back three generations. After 26 years of Marine Corps life and adventures with my husband and our three sons, I returned to the Oregon Coast and the community I love.

With the help of my sister Nichole, brother-in-law Kyle, and our family, this little house became Siuslaw Sunrise Retreat: a place to share the beauty, history, and spirit of Florence.
